We understand that, for most Americans, their tax return is the biggest single financial event of the year and it can be quite an emotional experience – especially during a pandemic. We want to remind clients that our Tax Pros are their partners during this time and will work with integrity, quality, consistency, and safety to ensure they have the best experience filing with us this tax season.
COVID-19 Update

At this time, we have a variety of health and safety protocols in place at our Jackson Hewitt offices that are consistent with current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, including that we expect all staff across our company-owned and franchise system to wear face coverings. Every Jackson Hewitt store follows all local and state regulations, is required to develop a social distancing plan, and will continue to monitor and adapt to changing guidelines as the situation evolves.
Clients filing in person will see at least six feet of distance between themselves and employees, partitions between them and our Tax Pros, and cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day, especially in high-touch areas.
Clients can lessen their time at our stores by utilizing our Document Drop-off and MyJH platforms prior to appointments, or file virtually by using Tax Pro From Home. This virtual option allows clients to get personalized service from an experienced Tax Pro without an in-store visit. Clients simply upload their documents remotely, talk with a Tax Pro, and complete their return from anywhere, including from the comfort of their own homes.
We know this is a challenging time for everyone, but clients can feel confident that we are here for them and will fight for them every step of the way to ensure they get the biggest possible tax refund they deserve.
