3,000 Jackson Hewitt® Walmart Locations Now Open

The tax-services company encourages taxpayers to take advantage of preparing taxes while they shop

JERSEY CITY, NJ, Jan. 4, 2018 – Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® makes it even more convenient for taxpayers to prepare their tax returns with the opening of approximately 3,000 locations in Walmart® stores. While customers are busy shopping, they can rest assured that Jackson Hewitt Tax Pros will dig deep to find each credit and deduction available.

Jackson Hewitt and Walmart are helping customers get a jump on tax preparation so they can file early in the season, get their refunds, and also help prevent tax return fraud. The IRS announced Thursday that it will begin processing tax returns January 29, 2018, for income earned in 2017.
