With an Assisted Refund*, you can have access to refund proceeds in approximately 10 to 21 days. Tax preparation and other fees will be deducted from your refund, so you can leave your money at home.

When you choose the Assisted Refund, you can choose to receive the proceeds using one of the following disbursement options:

  • Direct Deposit — Direct Deposit into your bank account.
  • Check** — pick up a check in a Jackson Hewitt® office.
  • Jackson Hewitt smartcard** — loaded to a Jackson Hewitt smartcard Visa® prepaid card***.
