Our BASIC level income tax courses are designed specifically for students with little or no previous tax training. After you complete our BASIC Income Tax course, you will have the fundamental skills and education necessary to begin preparing tax returns. In addition, the Jackson Hewitt Income Tax Course1 is recognized for up to 4.5 credits with The University of Phoenix®2.

The ability to transfer contact hours from Jackson Hewitt Inc. to another educational institution may be very limited. Your contact hours may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Jackson Hewitt Inc. if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that contact hours will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of contact hour policy of Jackson Hewitt Inc. and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the contact hours earned at Jackson Hewitt Inc. before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
